The Taken was a one day scenario run in May 1999 on a very wet Saturday deep in a forest in Wales. Here we recount the events of that game.

8th May 1929. In an isolated country house a disparate group of investigators are brought together by circumstance in a life or death struggle against a malevolent time-traveling race bent on world domination. But one amongst them is not all he seems.

Miss Beck cautiously unwraps the ancient artifact A map leads Jeremy Riverman, Veronica Beck, Joey King and Jonathan Crossingham to something hidden in the woods As paranoia sets in even members of the cloth are suspected
Hunting down the Morsk The mysterious stone circle is investigated The players search the woods for the segments of the ancient artifacts
Professor Crowe discovers a buried artifact Dunno Something is found
Getting wet At the end of a long and terrifying (and wet) day the forces of evil triumphed (as so often is the case!). Unable to close the portal at the stone circle to prevent the invasion of the dastardly ancient Morsk, the players are waylaid by the crawling mass sent by servants of the Morsk to stop the party. One by one they are killed by this seemingly unstoppable horror. By the early hours of the morning only Grant Elderby, Alan Black and Brother Michael (who was to reappear in The Hindhead Covenant, although this was to sadly be his swan song) had survived. An impostor is suspected. Using a cunning device fashioned by Henry Williamson, Professor Crowe attempts to discover the true identity of the group members. Shortly afterwards, Tobias Snow was unmasked.
